Description
- Introduction to Nordic Walking: This activity originated from the summer training regimens of cross-country skiers in Nordic countries. It involves walking with a pair of special poles. There are many benefits, including improved blood circulation. During the approximately two-hour session—which alternates between exercises and hiking—we’ll cover warm-ups, the proper use of the poles, and we’ll wrap up our outing with some stretching exercises. A gentle yet dynamic morning spent listening to your body and your sensations.
- Workshop: How to Better Prepare for Your Hike: Learn how to pack your backpack properly! Tips, essentials, and organization: the keys to setting out with peace of mind, whether for a day trip or a multi-day adventure. You’ll learn how to call for help if needed, how to communicate your location, and how to navigate using a paper map or suitable mobile apps. An enriching opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and pick up tips so you can set out on your hike with greater peace of mind, an open mind, and a curiosity for discovery.
Mandatory registration no later than the day before at the Tourist Office, from 6 pm to 7 pm.
