Catering Something new on the plate

THE IMA The art of the table meets the art of the party

Designed to tell a story, this brand new restaurant offers an unprecedented culinary experience by combining cuisine inspired by the Near East with a celebratory atmosphere. IMA, meaning “mum”, invites guests to take a trip back to their roots, a place where they feel at home. The menu, concocted by executive chef Elie Fishmann – a former chef at the Four Seasons, Paris Society, Bocuse and Ducasse – offers an innovative and daring dining experience designed for sharing, with flavours straight from the Near East.

To accompany the dishes, a selection of fine wines, refined spirits and made-to-order cocktails lead diners to turn their evening meal into a true celebration: as the evening goes on, the atmosphere is transformed and the tables are cleared away to leave space for the dancefloor.

Designed by architects Isabella Caetano and Mikolaj Wroblewski, every space has been carefully thought-out to offer optimum comfort with a refined and sophisticated atmosphere. For the interior design, Christine d’Aulan, founder of MEIJI_STUDIO, lent her vision and added a touch of excellence, rising to the challenge of transforming this former nightclub into a lively new venue.

Bottleneck New restaurant for the K2 Chogori

After the successful launch of the K2 Palace, the Bottleneck is opening in Val d’Isère, to replace the Altiplano. This new venue is inspired by and named after the legendary climb up K2: the “Bottleneck” is an important yet narrow passage to reach the summit of K2, and the restaurant pays tribute to exceptional mountaineers.

Along the same lines as its big brother, the K2 Chogori’s Bottleneck celebrates traditional cuisine, serving up masterfully-braised meat, fish and vegetables. Bernard Mure-Ravaud, a “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” cheesemaker, and Valentin Biseul, executive chef at the K2 Chogori, have teamed up to concoct delicious cheese-based dishes and a selection of signature fondues. In charge of the dessert menu, Sébastien Vauxion offers up an elegant and delicious twist on timeless French patisserie.

The emblematic La Petite Cuisine becomes the epicentre of La Folie Douce after being transformed into “La Petite Cuisine – Gare Centrale”: a 650m2 hub that combines all of the establishment’s services: food, bar, performances, workshops, shop, ski. Public transport-themed signs guide visitors around the venue for a fun experience exploring the different spaces: Folie shop, Central Bar and Folie Académie. The venue pays tribute to the building’s original architectural identity: the former top station of La Daille gondola has retained its raw sobriety but with the addition of elegant, sculptured lines inspired by the New York Guggenheim, giving rise to a fiercely modern, industrial-style atmosphere.
