1- To take fuss free ski lessons in the Snow Garden

Taught by local specialist instructors, your budding skiers grow quickly in to genuine alpine aces in one of the two super-safe areas on the Snowfront in La Daille and in the centre. Children learn in groups of 8 maximum in one of the special areas equipped with fun and educational equipment including a moving carpet, units, fun figures …

2 -For family fun in the Aqua Leisure Complex

Leisure pool, river currents, water cannons, massage jets, bubble bench, swimming lanes … Everything you could ever dream of after a day on the slopes. In a wood and stone décor, enjoy a bubble bath and contemplate the view of the mountains or simply watch the snow fall!

3- To learn at the library

If the sun isn’t shining then why not spend the afternoon at Val d’Isère’s multi media library. It’s the perfect place to read, listen to music or choose the next DVD for a family viewing session. You can also play video games and try out virtual reality at the library (internet access and WIFI)

4-To visit the cows at the Adroit farm

Discover daily life on an alpine farm as a family with a special educational slot for 3 to 8 year olds. The visit ends with cheese tasting! If you liked what you tasted then it’s possible to purchase all the farm produce including cheese, milk, yogurts, blueberry coulis …

5- To have fun at La Folie Douce Family Party

Enjoy dinner and a show by La Folie Douce cabaret every Tuesday during the Christmas holidays and every Thursday during the February and April school holidays. Don’t forget to reserve your table in advance. Dinner is free for under 12’s and 60€ for adults.

6- To have great fun in the snow

If you still have some energy left, end the day in style! Come along and try out the alpine airboard (which gives the impression of flying over the snow), Snake gliss (interlocking sledges) or Yooner (a surprising low seated contraption) to music. Every evening from 5.45pm on the floodlit Savonette nursery slope

There’s plenty to do during the day too: horse snake gliss (horse pulled sledge ride around a special circuit); gliding on the ice-skating rink.

7- To have a wild time at the ice rink

Val d’Isère’s outdoor ice rink is located in the heart of the village. The ice rink is open day and night from 3pm to 8pm and is just behind the Snowfront. Special events are organised on the ice and hot drinks are also available.

8- To take a trip in a dog sleigh in the Manchet Valley

Take a scenic ride and share a very special moment with our team of top-class dogs and mushers in the magical setting of the Manchet Valley.

9- To observe chamois and ibex in the Vanoise National Park.
