UIAGM high mountain guides are historically an international reference for escorting and teaching ski touring and mountaineering:

- Ski touring (initiation to expert) on Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area or on the wild summits of Haute Tarentaise and Beaufortain. Night in a refuge possible by reservation.
- Ice climbing
- Training in avalanche research techniques and management
- Snowshoe hike
- Off-piste skiing from the ski lifts
- Heliskiing on the Franco-Italian border (on request)
