At the gateway to the Vanoise Park, in the heart of the wild Fornet sector, the Vallon de l'Iseran will welcome a new generation gondola lift for the 2024-2025 season.
A renovation that benefits users, entirely designed in a reasoned way for the environment.
✅ Comfort and speed for skiers
The new Vallon gondola lift will be able to accommodate 10 seated passengers, compared to 6 previously, thus offering a more pleasant and fluid experience to access the Pissaillas glacier.
An express climb to the summits allowing you to reach an altitude of 2,790 meters in just 6 minutes and 30 seconds. No more waiting to access the top of the area!
✅ Reduced impact on the environment
The project ensures that the balance of local fauna and flora is preserved. The new gondola lift will be installed on the existing route, in order to minimize the impact on the natural environment.
In addition, 32 pylons of the old installation and two ski lifts are dismantled to free up the slope.
All protected flower species present on the project site will be replanted.
