What's new in 2023

The new space

Just starting out? Want a taste of the mountain bike and ATV trails, but don’t have the time or inclination for the longer routes? Come and discover the new “First ride” zone, created at the foot of the Bellevarde face.

Accessible from the departure point of the Olympique cable car and the COMMENCAL E-Bike chalet, you’ll find :

  • A flat loop made up of small, easy-to-cross wooden modules, perfect for beginners and children.
  • A mini section of our “Popeye” green downhill run: by recreating a short 250m section of the Popeye, we give you the chance to discover your first banked turns! If you’re comfortable on this mini Popeye, then the real thing won’t be any more technically challenging, just longer at 15km.
  • A mini section of our “Val Bleue” blue downhill run: by recreating a short 250m section of the emblematic Bellevarde run, you can sample its flow and appreciate the technical level required.
  • A short, green-level VTTAE climb: you can learn to ride a VTTAE, and it’s even easier when the trail climbs on a gentle slope! This route leads to the mini Popeye, a short, easy loop to learn and try again!
  • A short blue-level VTTAE climb: after the green level for beginners, comes the blue level for the initiated.

The new gourmet loop Val Pesto

Whether it’s time for breakfast, a bite to eat, an aperitif or a snack, there’s only one route to take! The Val Pesto is a fabulous itinerary linking Val d’Isère and the 3 hamlets of La Daille, Le Fornet and Le Manchet.

It’s a very easy 18km route for both mountain bikers and ATV riders, with stretches of paths, trails and tarmac roads. It’s a loop with 3 “entrances” (La Daille, Front de neige at the Olympiqu cable car, Fornet), then just follow the arrows to complete the loop!
