The ascent begins toward Lac de l’Ouillette, located at an altitude of 2,500 meters, offering breathtaking views of Val d’Isère. After circling the lake, the descent begins through the Laisinant valley to the charming village of Le Fornet. The route then continues along the Balcons trail before a final stretch through the Balme forest, leading to the finish.
