Description
The Tour de l’Avenir is part of the UCI Europe Tour and the UCI U23 Nations’ Cup.
Practical information:
- Riders expected in Val d’Isère from 3.17pm
- Arrival at the Col de l’Iseran from 3.45pm
- The publicity caravan will pass approximately 30 minutes before the riders
- The road between Val d’Isère and Bonneval-sur-Arc will be closed from 1.30pm to 7pm, from the Gendarmerie roundabout in Bonneval-sur-Arc
To watch the finish of the Tour de l’Avenir:
- From noon to 2.45pm: direct shuttle buses from Val d’Isère bus station to Pont Saint-Charles, with a connecting shuttle to the Vallon gondola.
- The Vallon gondola will be open free of charge and will take you to just 300 metres from the finish line.
- Return journey: after the riders have passed, the gondola will reopen at around 4pm, with shuttle buses taking you back to Val d’Isère bus station.
Free access to the finish: ftom 12pm to 2:45pm, dedicated Tour de l’Avenir shuttle buses will run from Val d’Isère bus station to Pont Saint-Charles, then on to the Vallon gondola. The gondola will then take spectators up to the finish area free of charge. The road between Val d’Isère and Bonneval-sur-Arc will be closed from 1.30pm to 7pm.
