High Trail Vanoise

The programme:

Friday 7 July
- T5V: a race across the Vanoise and Gran Paradiso national parks of France and Italy, starting at 4.30am.
Saturday 8 July
- HIGH TRAIL VANOISE: The most courageous of the racers will wait until 4.30am on the Saturday morning to set off on one of France’s top trail runs. The HTV race covers 72km with an elevation gain of 4,820 metres. You don’t want to miss this unique experience.
Start of the race: 4.30am / Prize ceremony: 4pm
- 6 COLS TRAIL RACE: Not to be taken lightly! A shorter distance than the High Trail Vanoise but just as challenging. (41km / 3,350-metre elevation gain) / Start of the race: 7.30am / Prize ceremony: 4pm
- PLAYSTATION TRAIL RACE (for children): In Val d’Isère, trail running isn’t just for grown-ups! Here, children aged 7 years and up can try trail running and perhaps win a Playstation. 800 metres for the 7-9 years age group, 2.1 km for the 10-15 years age group
Start of the race: 10.30am / Prize ceremony: 11am

Sunday 9 July
- LES BALCONS DE VAL: 20 km and a 1,050m elevation gain. The main difficulty is right at the start with the climb via the Manchet valley to Ouillette lake, a real gem perched 2,500 metres above sea level. Stunning view over Val d'Isère!
Start of the race: 8.30am / Prize ceremony: 12.30pm
- ODYSSEA TRAIL RUN & WALK: The association Odysséa is taking to the heights of Val d’Isère for the 2023 High Trail Vanoise event, when the resort expects to see walkers and runners form a Pink wave of solidarity along a 9 km trail with a 300m elevation range. Open to all (minimum age 12 years), this race promotes sport for health, hence contributing to the fight against breast cancer.
Start of the race: 9.30am / Prize ceremony: 11am.

- VERTICAL RACE: The courageous runners start every 30 seconds from the sports club to tackle the paths and pastures of the Bellevarde slope.
Start of the race: 1pm / Prize ceremony: 3pm.
