The Val d'Isère Sports Club, founded in 1935, is an iconic institution in the resort. It organises numerous sporting events and runs sports sections throughout the year.

The main events are the famous Ski World Cup, the Critérium and the trail race, the High Trail Vanoise.
As well as these major events, the club also offers various sports sections and events for residents of the resort.

The entrance to the Val d’Isère Sports Club is located opposite the departure point of the Solaise cable car.
