Ski Into Spring at Val d’Isère: Enjoy Longer Days, End of Season Parties & up to 40% off Stays

Published on 12 March 2026

As the days get longer, the evenings lighter and the weather warmer Val d’Isère is showing off its snow-sure slopes and encouraging guests to indulge in spring skiing this season. Final Tracks is back for 2026 for the last 3 weeks of the season, offering cultural, sporting and festive events and packages with up to 40% off accommodation & skiing for 2-6 days, including lift passes, group lessons and ski hire as well as special offers across participating restaurants, bars and activities resort wide.  (special deals from 18th April – 3rd May)

Guaranteed snow cover until 3rd May

With 60% of the slopes above 2,200m, including two glaciers, the Val d’Isère boasts guaranteed snow cover until 3rd May 2026. Combined with four extra hours of sunshine per day, skiers have the perfect chance to enjoy more time on the slopes and terraces. Visitors will experience the resort in a new light as the spring season sees three-times fewer skiers compared to the winter season. Ideal for both beginners seeking forgiving conditions and less crowded pistes, and experienced skiers looking for longer days and softer snow perfect for carving, cruising, and enjoying a more relaxed alpine atmosphere.

A hub of cultural, sporting and festive events

Throughout April, the resort comes alive in celebration of the close of the season. The 29th International Adventure & Discovery Film Festival will run from 13th to 16th April, showcasing 11 films, inspiring audiences with breathtaking journeys, daring expeditions, and powerful stories of exploration from around the globe. Families can also enjoy a program of free entertainments with the Tourist Office during  Final Tracks (giant quiz, treasure hunt…).

Wattsup Fatt Bikes are also offering electric Fat Bike adventures, organised around Lac de l’Ouillette. Take full advantage of the spring conditions and exceptional panoramic views from a new perspective every day from 9.30am to 6pm until 3rd May.

World Class Après Ski Closing Parties

Val d’Isère’s famous après ski venues are winding down in style with an amazing line up of end of season events. From 17th-19th April, Le Salon Des Fous are hosting Foustock Festival, three days of live music, DJ sets and high-energy parties in the heart of the village and on 30th April, l’Étincelle invites skiers to its big closing party with DJ sets and a buffet from 12pm. Other venues such as Le Petit Danois invite visitors to enjoy a barbecue and live music and Le Blizzard welcomes families to a traditional end-of-season buffet, heart of the village.
