In the Village Perdu, skiers and hikers can stroll throught the trees on suspended walkways landing to wooden tree houses up to the eagles’ nest. This area can be explored in winter: you can ski right up to it before taking off your skis and exploring the walkways.
Le Village Perdu is secure but not groomed to respect the natural environment, an confirmed level of skiing is necessary.
Developed in consultation with the French Forestry Commission, Le Village Perdu benefits from a sustainable design without any clearing or terracing, and larch trees are the only material used.
Plan for about a 1-hour uphill hike with 280 meters of elevation gain to reach the Village Perdu from La Daille.
