Join a community clean-up organised by Vie Val d'Is for a Zero Waste Mountain. Help protect the mountains by taking part in a morning of litter picking. Choose your route and see if you can win the prize for the most unusual piece of litter!
We look forward to welcoming you at 8am in front of the Olympique cable car for breakfast, participant registration and the distribution of wristbands for the day.
At 8:15am, a briefing will introduce the different routes according to ability level and assign everyone to their groups. The litter pick will begin at 8:30am.
In keeping with the spirit of the day, which celebrates waste reduction, reuse and recycling, we kindly ask you, where possible, to bring your own:
- reusable shopping bag(s);
- a small paper bag for cigarette butts;
- pair of gloves.
If you don't have any of these items, we'll be happy to provide the necessary equipment on site.
Please also remember to bring:
- water;
- a hat or cap;
- sunscreen;
- a warm jacket and waterproof clothing (depending on the weather);
- sturdy walking shoes.
Finally, to help protect the sheep grazing in the mountains, we kindly ask that you leave your dogs at home for the morning.
