With 105cm of fresh snow at 3000m altitude and 58cm in the village, Val d’Isère is set to open all sectors of its ski area this Saturday, 29th November 2025. Thanks to exceptional snow conditions and the work of the grooming teams, visitors can experience all sectors, including Pisaillas, Fornet/Iseran, Solaise, and Bellevarde, with ski-in/ski-out access to the village to enjoy the entertainment and shops! The resort’s connection to Tignes is also set to open this Saturday.
On the programme for the First Tracks opening weekend is free ski and snowboard equipment testing with the Ski Force Winter Tour as well as complimentary hot drinks, a tombola and a DJ in the Village Square. Those not on resort this weekend can still experience the slopes remotely, through the launch of the Val d’Isère map on Grand Mountain Adventure 2, marking the first time a real ski resort has been modelled and integrated into the franchise.
