Coming by bus

The bus can be the most convenient and economical solution + you won’t have to worry about parking.

To simplify your trip, book your ticket now with Altibus or Ben’s bus.

Coming by train

Want to avoid traffic? Then the train is the ideal option. The nearest train station is located in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (40 minutes) and it is served by many trains including high-speed trains (TGV, Eurostar, Thalys).

Bus transfers are then available from the stations to Val d’Isere with Altibus. If you prefer peace and quiet, opt for cab transfers (multilingual), all our partners on this page.

Coming by car

Think carpooling!

As ecological as it is economical, it is the best way to make beautiful encounters with people surely as keen on the mountains as you are!

Find 4 “carpooling” stops around and in the village, allowing the stop to pick up or drop off a passenger:

1 stop on the bus stop of La Daille, downhill direction
1 stop on the bus station
1 stop at the traffic circle of the slopes
1 stop at Le Fornet at the level of the Telecabine

Stop on these locations is limited to 10 min. Please note that parking is prohibited there and the driver must be in his vehicle.

The Community of Communes of Haute Tarentaise is committed alongside the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region to offera local carpooling service, meeting growing mobility needs with MOV’ICI.

⚠️ The Col de l’Iseran road is closed in winter. After the winter season, it opens in June, depending on the progress of snow removal from the pass and closes in the fall between October and November depending on the snow.
