From 5.45pm, join us on the pedestrianised Avenue Olympique to kick off the 70th Critérium de la Première Neige in true Val d’Isère style. Expect a brilliant atmosphere with the Funky Brass marching band, DJ Loran on the decks, and the Alpina Dancer’s bringing the energy to the heart of the village.
Between sets, don’t miss the athlete signing session with Rossignol & Dynastar: a great chance to meet the champions, snap a photo, grab an autograph — and get fired up before the racing begins.

6.00pm – Official opening of the 70th Critérium
6.30pm – Public bib draw for the Men’s Giant Slalom
➡️ Practical info: from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, Avenue Olympique is closed to traffic between the two roundabouts and becomes a pedestrian-only zone for the event. Come early to soak up the atmosphere!
Come along to the official opening ceremony in the presence of the Mayor of Val d’Isère, followed by the Giant competitors’ presentation and the presentation of bibs to the Top 15.
