Christmas is always magical…and even more so in the mountains!
This year, the village is being decorated along the theme of delivering presents. Come and
take part in a Christmas photo shoot and take a trip to Father Christmas’ letter box in the Tourist Office and Margherio squares.
Val d’Isère offers a week of festive entertainments:
– The Christmas elves’ marching band is coming to get visitors dancing and singing Christmas tunes from December 19th to 20th.
– The elves’ workshop will be open for making Christmas decorations from December 19th to 21st.
– Our ice sculptor elf will be here from December 19th to 22nd.
– Christmas wolves and dancers will parade around the village centre and at the bottom
of the slopes on Thursday 22nd December.
– Christmas carols will be sung by the Emilia Rose choir on the Place de l’Office de Tourisme and Place Marghério, on Friday 23rd December.
– All of these activities will take place in the run-up to Santa’s visit on Saturday 24th December.
– A face-painting stand will be open in the afternoon, then the festivities will begin and
Father Christmas will parade through the resort.
