Final of the Amateur Macaroon Making Contest
This year, award winning craftsman Patrick Chevallot, is to host the 8th edition of this contest at the Conference Centre under the patronage of MERCOTTE

This event which started out as a small local contest now welcomes contestants from Japan, Belgium, as well as Canada and Italy.

The winners of the national heats are to participate in this national final.
Each candidate is to present 10 sweet macaroons, made earlier, all the same size and flavour. They must also present their ingredients and any kitchen equipment used.

12.45pm: Conference centre doors open
1pm: Start of the 9th International Macaroon Making Contest in front of the public and Jury

4pm: End of contest and jury decision
6pm: Prize giving
10.30pm: Firework display
