Summer 2019, From June 29th to September 1st 2019
Val d’Isère. A mountain village on the edge of the Vanoise National Park and surrounded by soaring peaks. Most people only think of Val d’Isère as a winter destination, yet there’s a wealth of things to see and do here in summer. A carpet of wild flowers adds a veritable feast of colour to the landscape. The slate roofs of the buildings lose their thick mantle of snow and you’re never far from the sound of trickling water as ice melts
and mountain streams start to flow once more. Whenever you take a hike in the Vanoise National Park it’s not unusual to spot a whole range of
wildlife.
It’s time to don your walking shoes and discover the alternative face of Val d’Isère. Grab a bike and tackle the iconic climb up the Col de l’Iseran,
or explore some of the 160km of rugged trails in the Bike Park. Switch footwear to trainers and discover the host of activities on offer in the Centre and Manchet sport parks. Summer …that’s the time for freshly-baked blueberry tarts, relaxing nature walks, and fun-filled festivals.

Summer in Val d’Isère, let’s go !
