The Olympic Games
As a competitor, the Games are a magical, unique and incredible event. They take place every four years and are obviously a goal for any sportsman or women.
The history of French skiing has been highlighted by a number of sporting personalities including local skiers such as Jean-Claude Killy and Marielle Goistchel. Now it’s Victor and Clément’s turn to attempt to make their mark on history and the resort rejoices as they support their champions as they have always done in the past.
Our Val d’Isère champions
They dreamed of competing in the Olympic Games, to represent France and aim for medals, here are the 2 Val d’Isere Sports Club athletes.
Born on March 5th 1989 in Aix les Bains, he qualified to race the combined, giant slalom and slalom events.
This year, he podiumed for the first time in his career in the Wengen alpine combined event in Switzerland on January 12th 2018. He was also ranked 4th in the Kitzbuhel slalom in January which bodes well for the Olympic Games.

Born on May 3rd 1997 in Remiremont in the Vosges region. He qualified for the slalom race.
This year he excelled by becoming World Junior Slalom Champion in Davos. He gained his place at the Games after a majestic month of racing: 20th in the Val d`Isere Criterium de la Premiere Neige, followed by his first top ten result (8th) in Kitzbuhel wrapping up with a 6th place in Schlandming, the slalom temple!!
