A springtime cultural event, the four-day festival features 11 après-ski screenings at the Centre des Congrès, in cinemas and online. The films in the selection are presented by travel writer Sylvain Tesson in the presence of the adventurers and directors.
Discussions, meetings, events and exhibitions around the projects make the festival a concentrate of human exchanges where the public takes part in the adventure. In addition to sharing, what’s at stake for the teams behind the films in competition are the prizes: the Audience Award, the Ushuaïa Prize and the three prizes awarded by the year’s jury, including the Aigle d’Or de l’Aventure, recently awarded to Hamid Sardar’s “Mongolie, la vallée des ours”.
