Discover the Col de l’Iseran
Learn about the high-altitude flora with a walking guide. Free shuttle from the Tourist Office roundabout to the Col de l’Iseran.
Dates: every Thursday from July 21th to August 18th
Times for discovery walks: 9.30 am, 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm.
Last 1 hour
Location: go to the bus stop at the roundabout of the Tourist Office to take the free shuttle (the guide is waiting for you at the Col de l’Iseran)

Guided tour – Chapel circuit
Discover the chapels at the heart of Val d’Isère. These sometimes century-old buildings will introduce you to peasant societies. Explore the old hamlets of the village in a tour punctuated by the history of the chapels where mystery and silence emerge from these religious buildings.
Dates: every Monday from July 11th to August 22th (except July 18th)

Location: meet at the Laisinant bus stop or in front of the Maison de Val depending on the week (to be confirmed with the Tourist Office or in the Valscope).

It is also possible to discover the history of each of the 7 Chapels online and with an audio guide. The loop can be done by E-Bike or on foot, the route is available on the pedestrian and leisure map to be found at the Tourist Office.

Treasure Hunt “Historien en herbe” – Chapel circuit
Discover the history of the 7 Chapels in a fun way with your children! A series of questions will be asked about each of the 7
chapels. To participate in the treasure hunt, come and collect the puzzles to be solved at the Tourist Office. If children get the questions right, they will get their share of the treasure!

Discovery walk “Le hameau du Fornet”
Listen to the story of a high-mountain hamlet and discover the secrets of this unique site. Visit led by an art and history specialist from the « Fondation Facim ».

Baroque days
This year, discover Val d’Isère’s Baroque heritage like you have never seen it before! The event includes theatre, short films and music, in a day dedicated to Baroque art!
Dates: Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th August
Wednesday program:
• 10:30 am – Sensory guided tour: baroque emotions
• 2 pm / 3 pm / 4 pm – Artistic workshop: fashion Baroque
• 5.30 pm – Scripted guided tour: “Barock n’roll”
