At Val d’Isère, there’s never a dull moment! We do everything possible to offer you your most beautiful vacations in the mountains with activities and entertainment for young and old alike 🙂

Open all year round, our Aquasportive Center is the place to be for a good time: swimming pool, water garden, inflatable structure, birthday party, children’s massages, playground, etc.

In the winter, indulge yourself with our free activities on the snow front! On weekday evenings, our entertainer will introduce you to Snake Gliss, Yooner or even Airbord on the Savonnette sledding run. Sensations and laughter guaranteed.

From the smallest to the largest To each his own tariff

Free pass for children under 8 and reduced rate up to 18 years old!
This winter, children under 8 years old are free at Val d’Isère. The reduced rate for the youngest extends over the period from 8 to 18 years for 53€ a day on the Tignes – Val d’Isère domain. A real plus for families and teenagers. The day pass for the Tignes – Val d’Isère area is at the single rate of 63€ and an additional day is offered for any 6 to 11 day pass purchased that is 378€ for 6 days plus one day offered.

Val d’Isère focuses all its attention to ensure that you have an unforgettable stay with your family: we respond to all snow desires by offering reserved areas and activities to be shared as a family. We bring you concrete solutions to make your vacations in the Alps as easy as possible!

Your children will have the opportunity to evolve at their own pace in complete safety, on reserved slopes:

– The snow garden
– The Savonnette slope
– Quiet ski areas

Have fun on the resort with our play areas

– Valkids, at the top of Solaise, is a play area entirely dedicated to children with the longest sunshine in the resort.
– A P’tit cross on Bellevarde for a fun family descent
– The Lost Village, a “hidden” area in the trees, accessible only by ski, before taking off your shoes and strolling on foot on the suspended footbridges leading from hut to hut to the eagle’s nest.

A multitude of activities to do in and around the village

– The aquasportive center: 5000m2 of activities for everyone to enjoy. At your disposal, a lounge area with a playground for children and a golf simulator for parents; a beach area with water garden, inflatable structures; a Wellness area to relax after the day of skiing (jacuzzi, sauna, hammam).
– The patinoire, located in the heart of the village outside, you can discover other sliding sensations with a breathtaking view of the face of Bellevarde. Welcome chalet, hot drinks and many animations.
– The farm of L’Adroit offers various visits: cheese making, visit of the cowshed; you will discover the backstage of a mountain farm.
The chamois and the ibexes can be observed with the rangers of the natural reserve, 2 steps away from the Vanoise National Park.
Go to the House of Val where you will find:
– The museum will help you discover the history of Val d’Isère, the birth of the alpine ski resort and the champions of the resort.
– The cinema will keep both young and old busy.
– The mediatheque will offer you spaces for video games, board games, reading corners and of course loans.

All go on an adventure to discover nature

On foot or with snowshoes, take a stroll in the Manchet Valley, the Fornet or in La Daille. And if your walking quota has been met, opt for the dog sled rides, which are sure to get everyone on board around these captivating animals. Rides are accessible by big-wheel stroller, a tour available on our pedestrian/snowshoe/cross-country ski map.

Those little logistical details that make a big difference… Leave with a light mind and light luggage: everything is planned to simplify your life.

Skis for strollers!

To make it easier for you to move around with your stroller, Yapu-k offers skis for rent that will turn it into a sled in a few seconds. Kits are available for rent for 3 or 4-wheel strollers.

Information and reservations by the day or week, from the Chalet des Aiglons at the traffic circle on the slopes.

Pick-up equipment rentals

Such as strollers, cribs, baby seats, baby carriers… (Val Baby or Les petits voyageurs).

Communicating rooms, game loaners and children’s TV channels are available at all partner establishments (you’ll recognize them by the Family Plus sticker). Restaurant owners have menus and prices adapted to your children.
A medical service and a pharmacy ensure that any little boo-boos evaporate as quickly as they arrive. You’ll also be able to find potties, formula or diapers so you won’t run out of anything.

Tom's day, 10 years old

I’ve been skiing since I was 4 years old, so, of course, I’m not afraid! My mother says that it is she who is afraid, sometimes, so much I trace…
In any case, Val d’Isère, me I love. I spent all my stars here and now I do the Face de Bellevarde and the O-K too, the Critérium champions’ run. Last year, I even had my arrow. I was among the smallest and my parents, they were super proud!
What’s cool is that every year I ski with the same friends, we go all the way and we do lots of jumps, it’s great!
And then, after skiing we go to the skating rink or the pool and we never stop laughing…
I, when I grow up, I’ll take my kids here…
Because frankly we have so much fun and then it’s just too beautiful…
