The Bike Park

Discover the Val d'Isère - Tignes area on 2 wheels

Between breathtaking scenery, rides with views of our mountain lakes and technical trails for the more seasoned riders, we reveal our best tips before you head out, head in the handlebars, on our Bike Park.

The Bike Park

For all, with humility

The Bike Park is for everyone as long as you have a little bit of fitness and you go for a course that is appropriate for your skill level. Choose the trails according to your level to get the most out of it, and not risk scaring or injuring yourself.

I can ride a bikeI can go with my eyes closed

Maybe, but we are talking about mountain biking in the mountains, on a sometimes unstable and often changing terrain. An instructor is recommended to discover the activity in all serenity

How to choose your ATV/VTTAETo hit the slopes

With maintained, reliable, solid equipment. You don’t go down the Face de Bellevarde in winter with cross-country skis, for the mountain bike trails, it’s the same thing: they were designed for mountain bike. They are not flat, drivable trails. If you don’t have the right equipment, we advise you to rent some (with protections, advice, etc.).

No need for a planI know the tracks by heart!

Be careful, the ski tracks have nothing to do with our mountain bike tracks. You must follow the mountain bike signs and nothing else (ski slopes under construction, 4×4, etc.). We appeal here to your vigilance and common sense. Study the map of our Bike Park before you go.

If I find the track too hardI go down by the ski slopes or 4×4 track

For your safety, it is essential that you stay on the marked mountain bike trails and only those.

The right reflexes

In case of an accident

Notify the emergency services (18/112), indicate the station, the name of the trail and if possible the nearest beacon number from where you are. Then, the planned and organized chain of rescue will start. Rescue services are free, but this does not exempt you from having a responsible attitude (mountain bike, protection, adapted track). The bikes patrols will come to support the firefighters if necessary to lower the victim’s mountain bike.
