The exhibition covers various themes, such as traditional dwellings, the birth of the resort, the advent of skiing and the environment. Discover how, through the years, a handful of influential pioneers used the fertile yet dangerous mountain setting to their advantage. From agriculture to international skiing, the museum gives you an insight into the lives of the local people who shaped Val d’Isère.
