Fancy a walk or an outing on snowshoes ?
Here are some suggestions...
Fornet - Pont St Charles
From the Fornet, at the foot of the cable car, you'll find a path that takes you to the Pont Saint Charles, on the border of the Vanoise National park (5 Km one way). Really sunny in the afternoon. Take the free shuttle bus to the Fornet.

Val d'Isère - La Daille
Next to the main road D902, this walking trail is 1,5 km long (return).
Easy access and easy walk !

L’Ouillette
Take Solaise cable car. Follow the "rope tow". Walk to the Madeleine chairlift where you'll find the "Ouillette lake". Sunny place, amazing view. You'll find various restaurants on location (2 km walk around the lake).

Val d'Isère - Manchet valley
From the resort centre, cross the nursery slope and head for the Solaise Cable car. Follow the track to the Clochetons restaurant (1km away). From the restaurant , you can follow the path that takes you to the Manchet old hamlet (3km). Great area, peaceful and beautiful scenery. You can come back to the resort via the same route. The path is sunny in the morning and early afternoon.
You may also take the "Green bus" from the resort centre to the Clochetons restaurant.

Please note : Before setting off, always enquire at the Tourist Office as to wheter the paths are open (especialy after heavy snow falls).
