Adventure and Discovery Film Festival
From April 20th to 23rd 2009

Shortlisting for the 13th International Adventure Film Festival in Val d’Isère (Savoy - France) are now taking place until December 15th. The festival will be held at the Henri Oreiller Congress Centre from Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd April 2009.

We are looking for documentaries lasting at least 14 minutes featuring adventure and discovery.
We are interested in all aspects of adventure.
Films entered must feature one of the following subjects: adventure, exploration, ethnic encounters, sport or expeditions.

Please send us your DVDs with the completed and signed registration form before December 15th. The entry form is downloadable from our website. This festival is always an event rich in encounters, shared emotions and experiences.

The event includes eleven films, a jury of well-known adventurers and three prizes including one awarded by the public. A discussion with each adventurer follows each film. Entry is free to our ever-increasing number of adventure enthusiasts.
